Spring is here and it’s time to cheer! Or should we say time
to break out the dresses. I was fabric hunting one night and I came across this
beautiful floral print crochet knit fabric. It was so unique and different. As
a designer certain things are hard to come by, one being printed crochet knit
fabric.
Most crochet knits are solid colors, so to find this was amazing. I
decided to make a bodycon sleeveless dress, adding a small sweetheart bustline
and lined with a stretch light blue polyester blend lining. The print on this
fabric is so remarkable it reminds me of a beautiful oil painting.
You can easily change this look from night with the girls
into a day at work. Giving it a more chic modern day look you can pair with
your favorite peplum blazer. I wore my pink tweed blazer from Ann Taylor,
paired with my beautiful Somerville necklace from Stella & Dot, and my
kitten heels from City Classified.
