Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

The icing on the cake is that the Rock Church Manhattan is based on the performing arts. So we do spoken word, acting skits, singing, dancing, rapping and all. It’s a bunch of artist/non-artist in all types of field, ranging from professional actors, singers, dancers, Broadway performers, wallstreet tycoons, designers, musician, etc. For the past month we have been on a campaign to pray with one million people. This might seem crazy to you but it was even crazier to me! With faith in our hearts however, we push through not only making our goal but passing it! We prayed with over 3.5 million people around the world! WOW!!!

Being a part of this church has helped me to find myself, love myself and be myself! I have gotten closer to God in the past two months than I have in my whole entire life. Sometimes, we as people get so down on ourselves, and often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the world. We often don't even realize how we forget about God, even to the point we don't even know if he's really there. However, I am here to tell you otherwise. He is there and he loves you!

 All he wants is the best for you! I have grown so much. I don't feel lonely; I don't yearn for things I use to yearn for anymore. Life is not perfect but I have come to a peace. No matter what happens I know things will work out. Every day is a new lesson, a new test, some harder than others but the outcome in the end is well worth the journey. I'm so excited to share with you guys all that I have been through and everything as I go. I hope by me sharing my story it will help you with yours. Life is beautiful, the best way to start seeing that is by believing! Have faith!
