5 Ways to Wear Your Sweaters This Season

Here we are yet again in another chilly season, where the trees go bare, the cold breeze hits your hair and Starbucks has their seasonal pumpkin spice all ready for holiday cheer. I don't know  about you but this is also around the time where I wonder, where did all my sweaters go? Is it just me?

Lookbook | NYFW 2017

This fashion week my goal was to step out of the box with my style. Not saying that I don't like my style. It's more so I wanted to explore my horizons and see how creative I could get. It was honestly God plan for me to wear the looks that I did. I prayed for creativity and thats what I got.

How to Style | Floral For the Fall

We have all come to love florals especially in the spring and summer season. We love it so much that too often we want to carry the lilies and sunflowers with us in the fall. However, the way New York City is set up between the store season change and weather, it can be a bit difficult. So, today we are showing you how you can embrace your floral love for the fall while staying warm.

What to Wear | Denim on Denim

Within the past couple months I have lost focus on many goals at hand. I became somehow to self involve. It was like a woah is me attitude. Everyday looking for someone or something to fill it. Can I just be real for a moment? Trying to fill yourself up with things and people just doesn't work, because once there gone the feeling goes away. It's almost like a drug. You use it then when it's finish your high is over.

Lookbook | Pastel Pink x Fringe Knits

What happens when a color you use to dislike with a passion becomes the color you just can't stop wearing? I tell you what you can do. You can embrace it, just like any other new obsession.

How to Style | Cheetah Moto Jacket

One of the most classic prints in the apparel fashion world is cheetah.  From pumps, skirts to even pillow covers; we've seen it being made into every single thing you can think of. I am a true fan of textile and prints but sometimes I get a bit weary because there are a few I believe cross that thin line. You know that line between classy and tacky. Often, it is dependent on the fabrication and what is being created. I decidedI want to find a way to wear these pieces without looking tacky or flashy.

Lookbook | Fringe Kimono x Lace Top

The Fringe Kimono, similar to the Duster, has been on my must have list this season. It's the perfect piece to transition you from spring to summer. With various cuts and styles that can go with any look. Taking any casual outfit from boring to fab and even complimenting the most elegant of gowns. Since the last spring season, the Fringe Kimono has made a bold yet unique statement.

Places to Go // NYC: Hawkers

The world is filled with so many hidden gems from restaurants, entertainment, games and just the most kooky crazy things. I have been an avid adventurer and aspiring traveler. I want to find the best places to go and not necessarily the most commercially popular. I love places that are rich in culture and uniqueness. So, I figure a great wait to start on this path is by starting in my own city first.  New York City in it's own is a culture rich state which makes me excited to start here. First on my list of  places to go in New York City is Hawkers.

Lookbook | Bow Tie Sweater x Highwaist Pants

I've heard too often the clothes make the man, or first impression means everything so make sure you dress well. I don't agree or disagree with this statement. I do however feel that you need to find your confidence first before dressing yourself. The biggest mistake you can make is rely on things to give you empowerment. When you are already empowered everything else is just an added bonus to exude that. The great gift of styling is that you can truly become whomever you want, but the mistake is relying on the clothes only.

Lookbook | Dresslily x Jseivad

Layering in a new one. Sometimes the most fabulous items aren't the most partical. So, you have to get a bit creative on those things. This is not to say I don't love it, it just means you have to get a little uncomfortable in a great way.

Lookbook | Rose Wholesale x Jseivad

Who doesn't love a matchy matchy or what we would called coordinated looks. Once was thought of as too much is now coming back fiercer than ever. We first saw this styling in the 90s with shows like Moesha and Clueless, were the ladies would wear looks in the same color shade or print pattern. Now in 20th century it seems this trend has began to come back around. If you love the look but want to know how you can play it up where its not so matchy I can show you how.

Loookbook | Jord Watch x Jseivad

What's amazing is how much time can pass while simultaneously how much time we have left. What's even crazier is how many times we get mad at ourselves for how much time we waste knowing in the same second we can make a choice to start doing something.
