Crop tops have always been one of my favorite pieces to style. I love pairing them with high-waist pants, which as you know are the main style pants/jeans I like to wear. There's nothing like a good pair of high waist pants that hug your buns just right with a cute crop top to make you feel extra cute. I have always been a woman who was never ashamed to say yes I have curves and I love them.

You might ask what's the difference, it's always been apart of style. Well it's not necessarily the piece but how it has been enhanced. The look has moved from short to long. The length is now what has everyone currently looking for their perfect pair.

Once the unwearable piece in the back of your grandmothers closet, now the hottest piece of the season. Ponchos are this Falls "It Girl". What I love is the versatility and various styles.  From button ones, to embroidery, beaded to cable knit, having a poncho will fit all looks and look great on everyone.

It's amazing how the fashion calendar is so different from the consumer calendar. In fashion the calendar is a year ahead. So, while the average consumer is shopping during the year, the designers are creating for the following year. Hence, why all fashion weeks showcase designs a year ahead. It's so buyers, retailers, etc, can have time to look at the new looks and pick what they believe will sell.

This Fashion week as so amazing. Running from show to show, meeting so many different people, it's amazing I didn't tap out one day. God blessed me with more shows than I could imagine. So much that honestly it would take weeks to show review all. So, I decided this time around to show you guys my favorite pieces and why exactly they made the list. Get ready to drool ladies and gents. Your in for a major treat. 

Another year, another season! You guessed it, it's back around again NYFW! Of course I wanted to give you lovely darlings a front row seat. So, here is some of my picks I love during my journey through this F/W15' New York Fashion Week. First up is my favorite picks during my weekend at Fashion Gallery showcasing at Affinia Hotel. 

NYFW is over, until next year. Ahhh the horror, but to hold you over here are my finally two shows. I hope you guys enjoyed the journey as much as I did. It was nothing short of amazing. This season was filled with hues of purple and blue, glimpse of gold and silver, and fun sequins in all shapes and sizes. Walking into MBFW tent was in it's own a blessing from above. All and all this journey was truly amazing! Finally shows and looks on deck.

Part II of my NYFW journey was nothing but magical and inspiring. It's amazing to know these designer, like myself put so much time and care into each and every single piece they create. It's nothing short of magnificent. Design is an art that should not be taken for granted. This is surely motivation for me to keep going towards my dream.

Every year the women of NEW YORK leave the past behind and look forward to the future... this is known as  FASHION WEEK. - Carrie Bradshaw I had the privilege this year to go to several different shows all around the city. When I say it was overwhelming yet a gracious, beautiful, amazing blessing, I mean it. I met so many individuals even a few bloggers and stylist I admire. I will be doing a special segment these next few weeks dedicated to NYFW, showcasing the shows I went to as well as what I wore. Enjoy!
