Wrap Celebration

This dress I made right after my cherry bomb wrap dress. I had this print for a while and thought it would be beautiful in that style. I decided this time to add short sleeves, to give it more of a classic look. The print is very edgy, yet sophisticated. I paired it with nude strap heels from Zara  to help pick up the hints of beige in the dress. This silhouette is currently one of my favorites, however, I don't plan on wearing it out because I wanted to wear it in the future.

Cherry Bomb Babe

Who says a grown women can't wear cherries? Not I. I love, love, love this dress. I was a little skeptical when I first found the fabric but I couldn't resist it's charm. Like the designer that I am, I knew I had to take a chance and I am truly happy with the results.  This dress is sexy yet sophisticated! The fabric is made from a cotton/spandex blend. It is breathable and comfortable.

Places to Go: Rosa Mexicano

One thing you guys will soon learn about me is that I love food. I love going out to eat to but I also like cooking at home as well. However, eating out is an experience. Like my bestfriend would say it’s a performance like a play, once it’s over it’s over. You never get the dish made the same again, its always slightly different.

Minnie Mouse DIY: McCall’s M6833 Review

I was strolling down on Facebook one day and I saw one of my friends with a lovely polka dot summer dress that I thought was so adorable. I wanted one, but I wasn’t going to buy one. Of course not! I wanted to make my own. Whenever I get a chance to brush up on the basics of sewing I take it and stitch with it. I wanted make it before my vacation. I had only two days before I left for my trip. I didn’t feel like making the pattern from scratch so for the first time I used a pre-made pattern.

Summer Leaves

I love the summer time! The weather is so beautiful and everyone is just full of life. One thing everyone does in summer time is VACA! Vacation that’s right and I took me a little one to Maryland. I did have a few meetings in DC while I was away though. No worries, I was still able to get some relaxation time and wear a new favorite dress of mini. My new Maxi dress!

Cropped Season

Now, who doesn't love black and white?  No matter how you wear the two, you can be sure to look clean, sophisticated, and edgy! This crop top was originally made for my latest collection from my clothing line; Brigette Clarice. I loved it so much; I just had to create one for myself. Made from an imported Italian cotton woven, the print is bold yet classic. I decided to make white high waist pants to go along with it, but I wanted different from the standard.

Painting Spring

Spring is here and it’s time to cheer! Or should we say time to break out the dresses. I was fabric hunting one night and I came across this beautiful floral print crochet knit fabric. It was so unique and different. As a designer certain things are hard to come by, one being printed crochet knit fabric.

Plaid in the City

I am a little obsessed with vintage style and look. I had this plaid light wool fabric in my fabric bin for a year. I really wanted to turn it into a coat but didn’t have enough yardages. So, I decided to create something chic with a little vintage edge. Seams (lol get it seams) like trumpet dresses are trending this year, so why not create one of my own. I created this mini trumpet dress, with leather trimming on the bodice. I love how this light wool is breathable yet sturdy. It makes it a great transition piece.
