BruceGlen // Vintage New Year

HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! I can't believe how time has passed and how much has happened within the last few months of my life. I must say New Years Eve was amazing! I hope you all had a joyous and spectacular one! I know a few people may wonder what my New Year resolution is, honestly I don't have one this year. You know why because I don't need it to accomplish things. Everyday is a new day for me to accomplish a goal, a dream, a task. Every day is a new day and my advice to you guys this year is to make that your new years resolution.

We often put so much pressure on ourselves to have one but what the last few months has taught me is that God loves us so much, that no matter what we do we always get a clean slate in his book. So enjoy life! Explore new things, make your goals fun and most importantly give yourself some slack. I 'm guilty of putting pressure on myself as well, but that is another goal of mine. If God can forgive me and give me another chance, why can't I!

We must learn to love ourselves, have fun with things and strengthen our mind and soul. This year I look to help more people as well. I want people to believe in themselves and love themselves for who God created them to be. I want to interact more with you guys, express to you about my experience with God, people I meet thru my walk, my one of a kind adventures, my sewing fun, vintage styles and find, and just overall share with you how life can be so beautiful if you just look with eyes of love and joy.

Mixing vintage with modern pieces has always been a love of mine. I love oversize coats, statement necklaces and bracelets that have an old Hollywood glamour to it. This year I will get a chance to start revisiting this style more often. I got a word from my leader, from God. He told her to tell me to save my money. Now you guys know as a style blogger clothes is like a portion of our post, so you can imagine my face. However, I must be obiedent, Gods speaks for a reason and if he gives you a word best believe its for your own good. He wants the best for us, so we have to listen. We can only imagine what the road will be at the end. For me I want a condo so I am thinking about that. So, I will save my money.

I decided to look on the brighter side, now I will have to think of creative ways to keep my post fresh. This means more mixing and matching looks, which is great for those of you who aren't sure of how to make new looks from your closet. I also wanted to do a segment use ten pieces in my closet to create thirty looks. This will surely not only test my styling skills but also a great learning opportunity and chance to flex my creative skills. I'm super excited for this year because I know so many amazing things are going to happen

Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church ! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.
