Faux Fur & Leather Coat

It is getting colder and colder as the day goes by. Winter is around the time I need to eat healthier and keep my body in check. Winter is also the time during the week days I dress really simple because I am always on the move. Since, I work for myself that means I have to make the most of my days. I have to focus on getting my task done for the day rather than look chic. I however, have found ways to work around style even in the cold. Staying warm while looking well put together.

This look is a great example of staying warm while looking chic. Fur is a great piece to have. It is a great way to changes casual look into posh.I usually go for faux fur vest because you can wear over your look or over coat like I did in this look. I got this fur last year at H&M a great invest. It is one of my favorites. You can wear it with a longer maxi dress, or to spice up a casual white tee and jeans look. To stay warm I placed it over my favorite coat. The leather coating on the sleeve of the coats adds and extra edge. It helps to enhance the coat as if the fur is attached. 

For added fun and warmth I added this great leather pom Pom cap which I won last year. Hats out the best accessory to help you keep your head warm and add a simple touch to any look. So if your every looking to spice up a look and still stay warm add a faux fur. Layering is the key! It's a skill that is great to learn and gives you the freedom to be creative with your style. Try it out. If your more blessed in the upper area go for a shorter faux fur because it will balance your silhouette. If your petite and slim go for a faux fur that stops at your hip, this will help give you enough length but won't make you look like your wearing a rug. All and all have fun this winter and stay warm.
