Lookbook | Rose Wholesale x Jseivad

Who doesn't love a matchy matchy or what we would called coordinated looks. Once was thought of as too much is now coming back fiercer than ever. We first saw this styling in the 90s with shows like Moesha and Clueless, were the ladies would wear looks in the same color shade or print pattern. Now in 20th century it seems this trend has began to come back around. If you love the look but want to know how you can play it up where its not so matchy I can show you how.

With special collaboration with Rose Whole Sale, I styled their shawl cowl sweater with my grey dark wash ripped jeans. I went for a dark bottom mainly because it's sliming to the eye while still keeping in the monochromatic color scheme.  For a little color I pair it with my nautical bag from Sammy Dress, which i totally love. Perfect for days i don't feel like carrying anything. I usually like to wear it on Saturday and Sunday. Those are the days I'm running around and all i need is my phone card, keys and lipstain.

What I love about monochromatic looks is that you really can play with the color shade, but you don't want to go completely off the radar because then it defeats the purpose. No longer being matchy matchy instead it's just a regular looks. Some of my favorite matchy matchy looks are with prints. Pairing a bold top and bottom print piece with a basic top, can and will turns heads. In a god way people. However, if your not daring go for colors like red, blue, pink for spring and green, mustard and navy for winter months. These six colors are perfect for every skin type and shape.

Best thing to do with style however, is to make it your own. Find photos of looks you love and try to replicate it with whats in your closet. Or if you desire a whole new closet, then instead collect style inspiration you love, eliminate what you kinda like and start shopping around. Have a budget and be sure to look for deals. A great way to start is with the basics, but be sure to add a bit of color in the mix. Be sure to show some love on my instagram about this post, and if you like to see more monochromatic looks comment below. By the way check out Rosewholesale, they have so many affordable things for the fraction of the price and they wear well. A great bang for your buck.

 Inspirational Message of the Day

“From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “ Repent [change your inner self--your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.””
‭‭MATTHEW‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Today we are celebrating the Chinese New Year and what a way to start it!! It's our 2nd Passover chance. Just in case we didn't get it right, God is giving us another new year. Now we have a NEW new year to celebrate in faith, make-up for any mistakes and to put in our first fruits.
Preach the gospel with power, grace, mercy and love; God will be good to you always. Give great respect for the sacrifice of His son, any parent would expect that. Let's make sure that today we go about preaching His gospel, giving honor where honor is due. Happy New Year! 4:17!!!!

Zaful x Jseivad // Leaf Boho Dress

Every get the feeling of "what's next?" It's a question I asked myself recently because the summer was over and it felt like a chapter in my life was over. It was as if I walked into a new season and I felt it!

Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church ! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.
