How to Style | Cheetah Moto Jacket

One of the most classic prints in the apparel fashion world is cheetah.  From pumps, skirts to even pillow covers; we've seen it being made into every single thing you can think of. I am a true fan of textile and prints but sometimes I get a bit weary because there are a few I believe cross that thin line. You know that line between classy and tacky. Often, it is dependent on the fabrication and what is being created. I decidedI want to find a way to wear these pieces without looking tacky or flashy.

The cheetah is a classic and often fall into the tacky frame. My biggest pet peeve is them in leggings, I just can't deal. The best form to wear this print is dress, shoes, skirt and my favorite Jackets. I found this oh so perfect moto jacket in a cheetah print and thought hey this could work. To style this bold piece it's always best to make the rest of the look casual. Keeping what's underneath as simply as possible. If you want to do anymore you can opt for your footwear, adding a red heel is the perfect finish. I went for a rebel-city girl look, which worked out perfect seeing as how it was a bit chilly.

Style Tip of the Day: Never ever over due a print. Yes, you can mix match print but always let it be a balancing contrast like polka dots and stripes, they work if the print is small and one is big. Be cautious of where your heaviest as well. You want to wear the smaller print on your largest areas.

Don't be afraid of color or print. Trust that you can walk the street and feel fabulous.

  Inspirational Message of the Day

“These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”” - John 11:11

The love of Christ is beautiful, bountiful and limitless!! He considers us His friends and He woke us up from our sleep. The world is in darkness and needs to be awakened and saved. King David said, "What kind of love is this that He would be so mindful of man?" He truly had an experience with the love of God. The love of God is perfect, marvelous, and a work of art. There's nothing that can measure His love for us. God calls us friend? Why? How does God see us that He would send His Son to die for us? He's our friend, our Father, and our savior. He loves us! - The Rock Churches Worldwide

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.

Stripes & Culottes

NYFW this year was such a blessing. Way more than I could have dreamed. However, between the move of the shows from Lincoln Center to actually buildings it made it difficult to commute back and forth. I didn't know whether I was coming or going this week. It was a bit difficult to keep up with my looks as well due to my work schedule. However, I was able to capture this one which was my favorite look from the whole week. And guess what Jesus styled me!!!!

Accesory of the Week // Alex & Ani

Running home after school with report card in one hand and a joy in your heart. You get home to show your parents how much you achieved.  They take pride and joy in their  baby girl so the next day they take you out shopping. They find a trinket that's more that an enough to show how proud they are. A simple charm of achievement, that showcase how proud they are and motivates you to forever achieve the best and accomplish every goal you ever put forward. This is just a speck of what some little girls dream of.
