 I created this ultimate list because I felt like all the articles out there now are just highlighting the same people. In a time where we all are screaming SEE ME! RESPECT MY EXISTENCE! It's only right that you do the same when you create these black owned business list.

Like many of you in this time we are overwhelmed by the amount of deaths. Even more with the enormous amounts of racist comments and trying to explain to Amy Copper why it's back lives matter and not all lives matter. Doing this all day, everyday can become so exhausting you just want to go in a corner and hide.

I come to you in this post from a place of hurt and disappoint but wanting to do something to change that narrative. We all have our way of supporting, wether its' protesting, donating, sharing post, etc. We all play an important part. Before writing this post I was crying. Just the sad fact that I as a black woman can be hated just because of the color of my skin. It got to a point I felt numb. I finally got out of bed to go get ice cream and when I came back I got ignited to do something. As a designer and business owner I felt that it was my duty to bring awareness to other black owned businesses.

I'm sorry that it took even me, so long to make a move. Although, I knew of and recognize black business, I never got to show support with an action. In an effort to bring more power to the black dollar and bring the money back into the community, I am sharing every black business I can find. The list will be categorized and I will possible break it down into separate post later. Making it easier for those to browse specific topics. I haven't posted on this blog in a long time. I don't know if I'll be back blogging. However, I am using this platform I built to share something that matters to me and can make a difference in my community.

This list includes heavy hitters to new start-ups because everyone deserve to be shown. I did my best to put as many places as possible but I'm sure there are so many more. Thank you so much for supporting and checking all these businesses Although I dedicated a lot of time to put this list together, it doesn't match how many more businesses are out there. SO do the culture a favor and buy black. Find other black own business when looking for your net item Instead of searching amazon search black owned. What black owned business sells  candles? Thats the question you need to ask siri. Hmm on second thought she may not know. Just google it!

Inspiration | A Battle that Has Already Won

Last week was the week I got a call saying my friend was in the hospital. For me I didn't receive it because it was on a Wednesday See Wednesday is the day that we go to Healing Ministry so in my mind thats what she was doing. Healing Ministry is something Aeisha started in order to share her testimony of how God is healing her with other patients that are going through what she is going through. Which is why I didn't think anything of it when my friend Afiya, told me over the phone. I had originally called Afiya to check on her and my future Godson. She was due to deliver very very soon. I so can't wait to see my Godson.
