Plaid in the City

I am a little obsessed with vintage style and look. I had this plaid light wool fabric in my fabric bin for a year. I really wanted to turn it into a coat but didn’t have enough yardages. So, I decided to create something chic with a little vintage edge. Seams (lol get it seams) like trumpet dresses are trending this year, so why not create one of my own. I created this mini trumpet dress, with leather trimming on the bodice. I love how this light wool is breathable yet sturdy. It makes it a great transition piece.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.

Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church ! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

Places to Go: Rosa Mexicano

One thing you guys will soon learn about me is that I love food. I love going out to eat to but I also like cooking at home as well. However, eating out is an experience. Like my bestfriend would say it’s a performance like a play, once it’s over it’s over. You never get the dish made the same again, its always slightly different.
