What to Wear // Long Cardigan

Photo By: @Briwrks  Model: @jseivad  Cardigan: Banana Republic

The cardigan, once a two-piece set combination added with a camisole or suit now has become a  stylish staple. You might ask what's the difference, it's always been apart of style. Well it's not necessarily the piece but how it has been enhanced. The look has moved from short to long. The length is now what has everyone currently looking for their perfect pair.
I've always been in love with the length of garments. From jackets to skirts, coats to tops, there is nothing I love more than a long flowy piece. So, adding cardigans to the mix only grows my love for length even more. They are cozy and comfy. They come in various weights, textures and design. Long cardigans are currently a girls best friend. Wear over a dress or a causal jean and tee shirt, it's added warmth and style makes it the everyday piece you must have. The variations makes it even more of a winner because no matter your style, you can find the perfect one for you.

Here are a few long cardigans that should find a place in your closet. Enjoy!

   Style Tip

For a basic look, wear a white button up, a light weight open cardigan, your long cardigan, tailored pant, pumps, or ankle boots, add a belt, wearing it around your waist. For your light weight cardigan choose a contrasting color to helped enhance the color of your long cardigan.

For a chic look, wear a tailored dress, paired with black pumps, a pop of red on the lip and a blinged out clutch.

For a casual look, you can style your cardigan with a basic denim shirt, jeans and a chunky boot, like the look I feature at the top. For the full style story check out Thankfully Falling.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.

Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church ! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

Places to Go: Rosa Mexicano

One thing you guys will soon learn about me is that I love food. I love going out to eat to but I also like cooking at home as well. However, eating out is an experience. Like my bestfriend would say it’s a performance like a play, once it’s over it’s over. You never get the dish made the same again, its always slightly different.
