Floral Beauty

As a designer often we get ask what's our inspiration behind our work. Usually it's a long dramatic answer, sometimes it's short and sweet. Can you guess mine?

I'm short an sweet because everything inspires me. Many of times if i don't know what to do, I just talk to my mannequin. I know you guys are about to give me a side eye right now. She talks to mannequins, weirdo but listen, we as individuals put so much pressure on ourselves. This often causes mind roadblocks, especially when it comes to design. It's best to just let it flow.

Case in point, this two piece matching set I made. The skirt was a simply four panel knee length skirt. I wanted to keep it simple to show off the fabulous floral print. After completing that, I thought it would go great with a crop top. Then I started thinking about a crop top I saw in Zara I could pair it with. However, I didn't want to spend any money so, I decided to make my own. I wanted white fabric but didn't have any so I said okay I'll just use this fabric.

I will honestly say I had no idea what type of crop top to make. I just knew I wanted something different and original. So, I gathered all the pieces of the fabric I had and began to drape. I asked my mannequin, "Mannequin what should I do" and it lead the way. By the way I said this in my head, lol! This is the outcome and I adore it!!

Inspirational Message of the Day

A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive & healthy. The moment we start acting like life is a blessing I assure you it will start to feel like one.

    1. Hey Doll,

Thank you! Also I'm not sure because I have a photographer that takes my photos. I use two and they both use different type of cameras. The brands I know that most people use is Nikon and Canon. Those two are the best.

Zaful x Jseivad // Leaf Boho Dress

Every get the feeling of "what's next?" It's a question I asked myself recently because the summer was over and it felt like a chapter in my life was over. It was as if I walked into a new season and I felt it!

Zara Flats on a New Journey

I'm on fire and I need this hydrate to cool me off! You know why, because I'm back guys! I'm back and I brought my bestfriend along and his name is Jesus. Let me let you in on what's been going on for the past two months. I have been engulfed in my church, a church that is beyond amazing. The Rock Church ! It’s not your typical church! It’s non-denominational and not religious. It is more so about building a relationship with God and understanding he said come as you are! Meaning he loves you for you! Wow, someone who loves me for me, mistakes and all.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.
