Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water. What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.

God took care of me and blessed me with not one but about 7 coats! It was amazing like truly amazing. This is one of my favorites because of the silhouette and color. Bright red, it's honestly a show stopper coat that will forever be in style. Brand is Perry Ellis, and it's from their portfolio collection.

The collar is one of the reason why I fell in love and the buttons on the side of the armhole gives it an added flare. I'm looking to reconstruct this a few other coats. Adding a few more details but for now I'm enjoying it just the way it is! A great way to boost your wardrobe is getting an oversize coat it's perfect for days where it so could you need to wear twenty layers plus your coat! Trust me, grab a coat like this and it will all fit! Ha!

Inspiration for this look was  Cruella DeVile, I used the color story as my concept. Red always reminds me of her lip and the white and black gave me the idea of my leopard print blouse. I went for a city girl style, pairing my blouse with blue was highwaist just and black stilettos. I love contrast colors. It's something about contrasting colors that make an outfit works even more.

300 Black Owned Businesses You Can Support | The Ultimate Guide

Heyyyyyyy Friend!!!  I created this ultimate list because I felt like all the articles out there now are just highlighting the same people. In a time where we all are screaming SEE ME! RESPECT MY EXISTENCE! It's only right that you do the same when you create these black owned business list. Like many of you in this time we are overwhelmed by the amount of deaths. Even more with the enormous amounts of racist comments and trying to explain to Amy Copper why it's back lives matter and not all lives matter. Doing this all day, everyday can become so exhausting you just want to go in a corner and hide. I come to you in this post from a place of hurt and disappoint but wanting to do something to change that narrative. We all have our way of supporting, wether its' protesting, donating, sharing post, etc. We all play an important part. Before writing this post I was crying. Just the sad fact that I as a black woman can be hated just because of the color of my skin. It...
