Print Maxi Dress

Days when you just want to wear nothing on hot days I recommend a maxi dress. I was getting ready for one of my dear friends surprise party and had a moment where I just didn't know what to wear. Mainly because it was so hot outside. I didn't want to wear jeans, I don't own shorts. I know shocking right but we will talk more about that later. So going through my closet I found this gem. I received from a fashion show I worked in 2013.

I had forgotten all about it. It is a convertible 10 in 1 ways to wear maxi dress. I had the pleasure of wrapping it so many different ways on the models, it amazed even me how versatile it was. Stay tune for a segment showcase all the ways to wear it soon.

What was amazing was thatc after the show he gifted everyone with a dress. So it was only right for me to take it for a test drive. On a day I was doing so much running around I manage to take a few shots with my sister. This area in soho gave the whole look a Ancient Rome feel especially the detailing on the pillar of the building. So, lovely. Sometimes the simple moments are what make life worth wild. Loving you and every one of the little moments in your life, now that is priceless.

Holiday Style // Love Red

Classic red is just a style tradition. You can't go without wearing red during the holiday season. It's about as normal as drinking water.  What I love is the variations of red. This coat was one I got last year from my church. It was around the time I really wasn't working and couldn't afford to get a warm coat.

Stripes & Culottes

NYFW this year was such a blessing. Way more than I could have dreamed. However, between the move of the shows from Lincoln Center to actually buildings it made it difficult to commute back and forth. I didn't know whether I was coming or going this week. It was a bit difficult to keep up with my looks as well due to my work schedule. However, I was able to capture this one which was my favorite look from the whole week. And guess what Jesus styled me!!!!

Accesory of the Week // Alex & Ani

Running home after school with report card in one hand and a joy in your heart. You get home to show your parents how much you achieved.  They take pride and joy in their  baby girl so the next day they take you out shopping. They find a trinket that's more that an enough to show how proud they are. A simple charm of achievement, that showcase how proud they are and motivates you to forever achieve the best and accomplish every goal you ever put forward. This is just a speck of what some little girls dream of.
